Cebu West is a basement/backyard type of Filipino martial arts club that serves to fulfill the needs of it's members to train and learn. We are not a commercial school nor do we have the desire to become one. We train for the love of the art and for the knowledge and friendships that we gain during our travels and training. We are located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA.

Our goal at Cebu West is to carry on the teachings of Professor Remy Amador Presas and to spread the art of Modern Arnis. As we do preserve the original and basic skills of the art we also seek to stretch and advance our curriculum as we believe the Professor would have wanted. Modern Arnis is a fluid and ever changing art form that has endless possibilities, therefore we will always remain students of the art.

Cebu West is a member school of the World Modern Arnis Alliance under Datu Tim Hartman. We have found this association to be the best for many reasons. The high standards set by the WMAA along with advanced and friendly leadership creates pride and a good environment under which to learn and grow. The WMAA is associated with many of the top people in the Filipino martial arts as well as other martial art styles that help to enhance our learning and expand our knowledge. There is a tight bond between the organization and it's member schools and we are all truly on the same page. We support and assist each other and remain brothers in the art.
